They are projects made primarily for fun. Sometimes they are sidequests or the product of procrastination.

Personally, I am not a perfectionist and likely will never be one. I also have heard from so many artists who suffer from debilitating perfectionism causing them to never show their work. That means there are tons of meaningful work hiding in the shadows of creative studios. I strongly believe a ½ baked idea can be just as meaningful as a “perfect” one. Let these serve as tools to remind you that meaning and purpose serve stronger than perfection.
